Full Force Dance Academy in Minneola has been invited to perform at Coke Zero Sugar 400 pre-show and will host the pace car at their studio this Saturday.
Grimes offers classes in a variety of dances including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary for both kids and adults, and is currently enrolled at Florida Southern College for business administration.
“We’ve always known her love for dance,” Grimes’ mother, Tracey, said. “When she was on stage you could just see it in her face. I’ve watched her choreograph and seen her talent grow. I can’t express how much we are proud of her.”
The studio is a family effort. Tracey is helping with the bookkeeping and Grimes father, Troy, helping with the renovations that were needed in the studio. That includes adding the dance floor, mirrors, repainting the walls and general maintenance.
