GPs surgeries across the north-east have urged patients not to contact them about Covid-19 vaccinations after their phone lines were jammed with inquiries. Medical practices across the region have been inundated with calls from people inquiring about the jab. Patients are being called in order of priority and currently, only those over 80 are being contacted.
