Hon Hai says it is meeting financial obligations in Wisconsin deal

Taipei, March 9 (CNA) Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. said Tuesday it continues to fulfill its financial obligations under an investment deal in the American state of Wisconsin.
Hon Hai, also known as Foxconn in the global market, made the statement after Daniel Hintz and Hintz Real Estate Development in Wisconsin dismissed a lawsuit they had brought against the company, alleging a breach of contract with two municipalities in the state.
The lawsuit, filed by Caledonia resident Daniel Hintz and Hintz Real Estate Development Co., alleged that Hon Hai had failed to construct a 10.5th generation flat panel plant in Wisconsin and employ manufacturing and construction workers as it had promised.
