Town manager Joe Royle is set to make two changes ahead of Tuesday night s top of the table home clash with Wigan. Kevin Horlock misses the game through suspension while Drissa Diallo has picked up a hamstring injury which will see him miss the entire holiday programme.
Two second half goals from Darren Currie took the Blues to a deserved 2-1 win over Plymouth Argyle, one of his former clubs. With Tommy Miller substituted, Currie took responsibility from the spot and netted a second not long after. Mickey Evans pulled one back not long after Currie s second.
An 89th minute Darren Bent goal gave the Blues a dramatic victory over Wigan and took them ahead of the Latics at the top of the league. After a goalless first half, a stupendous Leighton Baines 40-yarder put the visitors ahead but Richard Naylor and Bent gave the Blues the win they deserved.
Town have signed Arsenal defender Daniel Karbassiyoon on a month s loan. If the paperwork goes through, the 20-year-old American will go into the squad for this evening s top of the table game at home to Wigan.
