Helsinki s Helen Ventures invests in Berlin-based LiveEO

The funding round strengthens LiveEO’s sales development and expansion into new markets. LiveEO analyzes satellite imagery with artificial intelligence to monitor infrastructure grids such as railways, electricity grids or pipelines and enables the operators of these assets to save operational expenses and improve performance. Currently, LiveEO can count more than 30 grid operators from all over the world as their customers including Deutsche Bahn (Europe’s biggest railway operator), electrical grid operators such as multiple E.ON subsidiaries including e.dis, Bayernwerk (Germany), Tensio TS AS (Norway), E-Redes (former EDP, Portugal) and pipeline operators such as Gascade (Germany). “Over the last 3 years we’ve built up a unique technology stack to analyze earth observation data at scale and we now can realize many new revolutionary features on the basis of this tech backbone.”

Tell us about your new project. Konal: The project has been created to celebrate the golden jubilee of our country s independence. The song, Through The Tiger s Eye, is a part of the initiative under the Artists4Desh. Most of the organisers are foreigners, and one of them is Daniel Seidel. He is originally from Germany, but he spent twentty years in Bangladesh as a diplomat and also worked for the people here. So, he has a special connection to Bangladesh, which is why he was inspired to begin this initiative. This is a global project, which involves songs, photo exhibitions, concerts, and books being released. This is targeted to audiences globally to promote the celebration of fifty years of independence of Bangladesh, and to teach about Bangladesh.
