Incumbent Delray Beach City Commissioner Juli Casale lost to Rob Long, a consultant and a former member of the city’s Planning and Zoning board. Retired teacher Angela Burns defeated former Commissioner Angie Gray.
City elections in Palm Beach County aren’t for another five months, but Boca Raton Mayor Scott Singer has already won a second term in office. Singer won re-election by default after no other candidates filed to run against him in the March election.
