Chairman of the Governing Council of Osun State University, Mr. Yusuf Ali, yesterday, urged Nigeria’s current leaders to emulate the virtues of honesty, incorruptibility and empathy exhibited by the late Justice Bolarinwa Babalakin.

He said the APC chieftain was at his Abuja residence on Wednesday to solicit support for his presidential ambition in the coming election.

SaharaReporters learnt that in Lagos State, the ruling party APC had three parallel congresses with one of the factions led by a former governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Fayose wrote on his Twitter handle about his visit to the Bourdillon, saying he did not like to “sign condolence registers.”

Tinubu according to a statement on Friday, claimed that he had no other surgical procedures “and contemplates none in the future.”

Tinubu is one of the top shots of the APC said to be eyeing the presidency.

The cancellation was due to the exclusive report published by this medium, which forced them to abort it abruptly.

However, due to his inability to stand the rigours of a physical rally, the ex-Lagos governor quietly entered into the country, shunning any fanfare.

Tinubu underwent knee surgery at the John Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland, US.

The former governor, who has been in the United Kingdom for the last three months since undergoing knee surgery, told the gathering, “Because of God and people like you, I am well. It is just the physio (physiotherapy) that is gruesome.”
