, anyone who found the superheroes-within-a-sitcom premise of the show's first few episodes interesting has also gotten further explanation and background in the succeeding episodes. And now, as the show marches toward its 9th and final episode, fans are left wondering how they could possibly bide the time until we finally see how it all turns out. After three episodes of mystery, âWandaVisionâ is finally revealing some secrets. Along the way, several characters from previous movies returned, They ask a few questions about whatâs happening in Westview and give an extended outside perspective of the town for the first time.
The episode starts with the chaos of âthe blip,â where everyone was snapped back in âAvengers: Endgame.â Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) attempts to adjust to this new reality, returning to work for the agency SWORD This sets her on the path to Westview when FBI agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) asks for assistance because the entire townâs population appears to have gone missing. Rambeau is quickly sucked into the town, becoming a part of Wandaâs (Elizabeth Olsen) show as Geraldine.

We're now four episodes into
WandaVision, and the mystery of what's happening in Westview continues to deepen. The series kicked off on Disney+ with a double-bill, but might it end with one as well?
In a recent Facebook post, STW Talent Agency has shared some promotion for their client, Selena Anduze, one of the S.W.O.R.D. agents on the show. They note that the actress appears in episodes 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10. This contradicts a press release from Disney which seemingly confirmed a nine-episode run.Â

With the fourth episode landing on Disney Plus last Friday, we’re now officially halfway through the eight-outing run of Marvel’s
WandaVision, the very first Marvel Studios TV series. It’s been a blast so far, with every new installment sending the internet into meltdown, and this midseason trailer promises that there’s a whole lot more intrigue, drama, action and general sitcom madness to come.
As revealed in last week’s installment, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) and Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings) are trying to crack the mystery of exactly what’s going on in the town of Westview, which is protected by a powerful energy field. Meanwhile, inside, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are living out their ever-evolving suburban existence, but the cracks are beginning to show in this fake reality.

Sometimes, the best thing that a TV show with mystery-box inclinations can do is anticipate when viewers’ patience might be wearing thin. There’s no point stretching out a mystery if everyone’s either picking up on every piece of the puzzle or starting to lose emotional investment. (Looking at you,
Westworld.) So credit where it’s due to
WandaVision, the first Disney+ series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for understanding its audience’s expectations.
