An anti-terrorism court in Lahore on Saturday (March 25) granted interim bail till April 4 to former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan in three terrorism cases filed at the Lahore Race course police station. According to a report by Dawn, two of these cases were filed on March 14 and March 15- relating to the clashes which took place between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters and police outside party chairperson Imran Khan's residence in Zaman Park. 

"One thing is clear, whoever is in power, they will get a message today that people's passion cannot be curbed via hurdles and containers," Imran Khan said, adding that around 2,000 PTI workers have been put behind bars only to create hurdles for today's rally,

Pakistan's ousted prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday urged his supporters not to back off "under any circumstance" and said that "reaction" to the "atrocities done to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)" would come from the public at the party's Minar-e-Pakistan rally tonight amid a "threat alert" issued by the interim Punjab government, Pakistan based Dawn newspaper reported.

The local administration has placed containers at various location as PTI is all set to hold jalsa at Lahore's monumental Minar-e-Pakistan.
