about all the hacking that s going on in the private sector and the data leakages. look at the irs just the other day. just leaving them out there is not exactly providing any kind of safety and security for people to be able to get into your records. i think this is somewhat of a false argument. the real argument here is what do we need to be able to make sure that we are adequately protected? at the same time not unduly opening up people to privacy concerns. and i think we ve had a pretty good balancing act up to this point. we haven t any cases where privacy s been invaded that s been alleged at this point nor do we have any indications at least fresh ones, recent ones where this type of overreach many people argue collecting 120 million americans phone records could be overreach. that it hasn t done the job, otherwise it wouldn t have popped up in the first place. what do you think?
