Tata Motors is India's largest commercial vehicle company and the fourth-largest PV player. In PVs, the company has products in the compact and mid-size cars and utility vehicle segments.

The shares of Tata Technologies, an arm of Tata Motors, made a dream stock market debut on Thursday, listing with a huge premium of 140 per cent, against the issue price of Rs 500.

Tata Motors sold 9.9% stake for Rs 1,1613 crore in a pre-IPO deal last month. After selling 4.63 crore shares, Tata Motors’ stake in Tata Tech will go down from 64.79% to 53.39%.

Rooted in the vision of its founder Jamsetji Tata in 1868, the Tata Group stands as a global enterprise with its headquarters in India.

Tata Motors: "I am really bullish on India given the way digital has pervaded the society here. Given that it is a price-sensitive market, India has the potential to establish something that it relevant to the world, so there can be a lot of exports from India, particularly in the EV space, given their competitive advantage."
