Daily Express learnt that Datuk Brendon Soh, who was appointed to the post just before the Warisan-Plus State Government collapsed in the September State election, has agreed to take up an advisory capacity.
His appointment became a controversy when social media reported that he was given a RM60,000 pay package by the previous government. Various quarters also reported that, in principle, all Attorney Generals step down when a new Chief Executive takes over the helm of government.
