SANDAKAN: Residents in the district claimed to have been experiencing a “salty taste” of water for several weeks or months even after the water has gone through filtration at home.
Tanjung Papat Assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon queried why Sandakan Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) remained “unpopular” among industries although it has been established about one to two decades ago.
“The question is why investors are not interested. Has the Government conducted any survey to find out the various reasons for the lack of investors’ interest in what appears to be a prime location?
