KUALA LUMPUR: Graphic designer Fahmi Reza will be remanded on Saturday (April 24) following his arrest in connection with sedition investigations. Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said the CID s Special Investigation Unit (USJT) is investigating the case under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act 1948 and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 for wrongful use of network facilities. We will request a remand order for him on Saturday. The USJT will investigate the matter further, he said in a statement on Friday (April 23). Comm Huzir said a police report was lodged against Fahmi for allegedly insulting the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah through his Facebook account.

He said police would submit a remand application against the suspect today.
