Let me tell you — it’s pretty good or at least OK around here in Grand Forks. Hunters have been out for deer and game. Pumpkin pie has been coming out of our ovens.

"The big attraction before us now is Halloween which is coming up in a couple of weeks."

Thanks for sending along an update on your recovery from the wild weather down there in Florida.

The skies are blue and the leaves are beginning to turn from green to autumn gold.

Next week there will be homecoming at the university, as autumn moves in on Friday of this week.

And as September rolls along, there will be homecoming events at UND.

Well, as everyone knows, summer seems so fleeting here around Grand Forks. We love it. We hate to leave it behind.

It's a good time to be in Greater Grand Forks.
