The defibrillator on wall of Irby Mill pub A LIFESAVING piece of equipment has been installed at a Wirral pub in memory of two regulars. The defibrillator, installed at the Irby Mill is in honour of Dave Small and Andy Stephenson, who passed away last year. The portable device can be used by a member of the public to help restart the heart when someone has a cardiac arrest. This is when the heart stops pumping blood around the body and they lose conscious almost at once.
