Ever since travel restrictions implemented to tackle the outbreak of novel coronavirus were lifted, Maldives has become the favourite destination for travellers. And why not, the island country holds several options including, the luxuries of a private island.
Though most of the resorts on the island are relatively private, its newest luxury island is grabbing the attention of travellers. It is the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi resort s Ithaafushi - The Private Island that opened this week.

“With the massive uncertainty of our restaurants being able to open or not, we immediately moved to open an safe outdoor space to hopefully keep jobs for the team, support our suppliers and bring the community together,” Parry posted on Instagram.
