Here is the Carson City area road construction report for Monday, June 14 through Sunday, June 20: The Nevada Department of Transportation will continue fog sealing sections of US Highway 395/Carson City Freeway next week that will result in temporary closures of on and off ramps at some interchanges.

After nearly 3 years, the prosecution of Wilber Martinez-Guzman is finally coming to a close. During a status hearing Thursday morning in Washoe County District Court, Guzman pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including four First Degree Murder with Use of a Deadly Weapon charges. He is also Secretary and past President of the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation and Secretary of the Carson City Historical Society.
