[ bleep ] and a woman leads police on a high-speed chase in a police car, but it s how she managed to escape that is shocking. good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i m anne-marie green. this morning, hurricane irma is moving like a buzz saw through the care bayne bean and will probable hit florida some time this weekend. it left most of the island without power. at least eight deaths on the island of saint martin are blamed own the storm. irma, a category 5 storm is moving west-northwest and just passed puerto rico. it s expected to hit the bahamas by tomorrow night. in southeast florida people are scrambling for supplies, gas, and a way to get out. a mandatory evacuation for miami/dade county including miami beach takes effect this morning, and meg oliver is in miami beach. meg, good morning. reporter: anne-marie, that s right. mandatory evacuations took place at noon. we re stand at one of the remai
monitoring. he was convicted of fondling a woman in dementia in wayne. chad pradelli was in the courtroom today when spingler s sentence was read. you have the details. reporter: yes, you said it. spingler was sentenced to two years probation and 60 days of house arrest. the commonwealth asked for 23 months behind bars and he apologized saying i committed a tremendous error. it was his mother-in-law who lived in a nursing home caught fondling her chest once not twice. and was doing it for shock value because his mother-in-law who has dementia stopped recognizing him. and he took into consideration his long-term commitment to his mother-in-law. who he took care of since 2007 and that he visited daily. the judge also said he took into consideration the review about the sexual offenders review board who found spingler not to be a violent sexual predator and at low risk for recidivism. a review of the criminal complain is disturbing currently the board of commissioners is wor
