Shenango Township’s annual road budget is bigger than the entire general fund budget of South New Castle Borough.

The help of an Ohio industrial firm in the time of crisis has enabled Shenango Township officials to partially reopen a bridge damaged by flooding Sunday night.

Shenango Area Fire District firefighters were called to action Sunday evening when a downpour and storm struck a section of the township toward the Wayne Township line.
