Imo Jailbreak: Police Arrest Escaped Inmate In Akwa Ibom
“(The) suspect confessed to be one of the inmates who escaped from the Nigerian Correctional Centre in the recent jailbreak at Owerri, Imo State on 5/4/2021. Until his conviction, the suspect was a resident of Obinze in Owerri, Imo State,” MacDon, a superintendent of police said in a statement issued on Friday in Uyo.

Men of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command have arrested an inmate who recently escaped from prison in Imo State.
The police spokesperson in Akwa Ibom, Odiko MacDon, identified the escaped prisoner arrested as David Ubong, from Ibaka in the Mbo Local Government Area of the state.

The Akwa Ibom State police command said it has apprehended one David Ubong- an escapee of the recent prison break in Owerri Imo State.
In a Statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Odiko Macdon on Friday, the suspect was arrested in Ibaka, Mbo local government area of the State on April, 6, 2021 and would be handed over to the correctional service in Imo State to face his jail term.
He added that the arrest was made possible following a credible intelligence

The Taraba State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has nabbed a suspected high-profile kidnap kingpin.
The suspect whose name was given as Mohammed Gidado, was said to have been arrested by the men of the command via intelligence gathering and surveillance.
Parading the suspect before the media in Jalingo, the State capital, the state commandant of the corps, Mohammed Waksha said the suspect was nabbed at Jebjeb village of Karim-Lamido Local Government Council.
