FAYETTEVILLE Between the last major renovation of the David W. Mullins Library in 1997 and the current two-phase remodeling project, enrollment at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, has roughly doubled to approximately 30,000 students so "we re trying to serve double the students but in the same building," said Kelsey Lovewell Lippard, director of public relations for University Libraries.
With an undergrad population of over 30,000 students, on-campus resources like CAPS and finding your own sense of belonging within the school is crucial.
Students may notice some changes to 1021 West Dickson Food Court as they return to campus and should anticipate some changes to David W. Mullins Library as the year goes
As students sledded down campus’ largest hills this week during a heavy winter storm, David W. Mullins Library remained open for students needing resources or a place to study.
The newly completed Student Success Center has opened, while ongoing construction projects include tennis court installations, dining facility expansions and more.
