but expensive. that wasn t a concern thanks to a famous hollywood stylist. kabc reports this star treatment was free. reporter: most of the women at the daybreak shelter can t remember the last time anyone did their hair or makeup. it feels really wonderful. it s like i love primping anyways. so playing house and dressing me up. oh, yeah. reporter: for some it is a first. i m pretty plain. i don t wear all that stuff. but i kind of want to see what it will look like. i m excited, though. reporter: when beverly hills stylist to the stars jose eber arrived with their team of experts to do make-overs they were stunned. i was going to watch someone getting their hair done. i didn t thing it was going to be me. you are ready for a change? yes. look at this incredible hair. reporter: she was ready to part with her long locks. we are hearing giving all the ladies confidence. because once they have confidence, they take life a little bit differently.
