According to Steve Irwin, spokesman for the Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's Office, the investigation conducted by Ohio BCI was referred to the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office. Irwin also said the prosecutor's office handed the case off to a special prosecutor from Butler County.
