The plan of a floor manager to steal Rs 22.13 lakh from a store s cash room in Lucknow was thwarted after police noticed a woman who they later discovered was an insider. Investigation pointed towards Veer Shankar, the floor manager, after numerous colleagues mentioned his incriminating remarks.
