I am an independent. >> ed: youve been a democrat for who youve worked for before. >> i work in house democrats. this is an unfortunate move by castro. i think he did not take a sign from eric swalwell when he attacked sanders for his age and the next thing you know he wasnt in the next debate. he needs to remember, castro needs to remember, who joe biden is and the fact that biden was with obama when they passed the affordable care act. when you are debating him about health insurance and makin...

Do you expect fireworks between warren and biden tomorrow? >> well, i think is the field shrinks and a smaller group of people by the debate format and much more direct collisions on public policy but joe biden seems to be very gentlemanly in the exchanges and elizabeth warren has really been focused on the issues and doesnt get into the ad homonym personality attacks. the main thing is to keep everybody together and im trying to emphasize we are now not just the progressive and the liberal part...

Thats front man who decides to run which could happen. >> dana: you can see baidoa work, you might want to give that a shot. finally, i wanted to ask about this. and he tried to buy his way into the debates and it looks like it has happened. he has made the fourth debate which has the same qualifications as the third debate and now the question for the dnc is whether or not they have to expand of the debate format back to two nights. this week they only have enough candidates for one night. now ...

There is 30,000 people or so that are living under those blue tarps. i did talk to people from the power authority. they told me that they have $141 billion in equipment ready for that power infrastructure to be repaired in the aftermath of a storm if it were to happen. but id say that right now what is keeping everyone on their toes is the unpredictability of the storm. just to put it into perspective, last night when our nbc news team came on the ground, we were looking at places in the southw...

He says anything that comes to his mind that he thinks will get votes. but he has no intention of carrying through on his promises. >> but is that to your point that weve got come up with a plan? this isnt new, you know, youre from michigan, im from ohio, the plant in my town closed where i grew up. so is it that they dont actually have an answer or just the debate format didnt give them the right opportunity? >> i suspect that, you know, it would have been good if people had tried to get to som...

The first time and it worked for her. she has been in detroit the past couple of days, had a date night with her husband, going to dern and a concert. she will be on stage near cory booker and julian castro. booker has been going after joe biden on race issues leading up to tonights debate. julian castro had a moment in the first round of debates, talking on immigration, taking on beto orourke. and he will try to make his case tonight to get a little more support. all these candidates, of course...

>> it does seem to be alarming that, you know, this week we had the mueller testimony, we had this senate intelligence report. but we had another incident this week that to me should actually raise more alarm bells. and that is the president seems to be standing alone in the republican party. even today on wanting to punish turkey, a nato member, for essentially going to russia for military help. and here the united states would like to sanction turkey. and president trump is begging them not to...

Not ready for somebody to point pout a difference of opinion about the history of segregation in our country and what was necessary to deal with that, which at that time was busing, then youre probably not ready. >> all right, governor who does he match up with now? is he more prepared this time? since then all he talked about is how the debate format is not his thing. >> right, but i think he will be more prepared, hell be ready and i think the staff has gotten him ready and will continue to do...
