Stellarium will project a map of the night sky for your specific location and you can also adjust the time and date.
You can then look up Mars or any other astronomical object of interest in the search bar at the top.
Toggles at the bottom will show you the constellations, and the equatorial and azimuthal grids.
EarthSky s astronomers said: There will be a period of months this year when Mars sits near the sunset, faint and inconspicuous, before disappearing in earnest into the sun’s glare. So enjoy Mars in February 2021! It’s only going to get fainter as this year progresses
There is no set date for the beginning of the new age, and astrologers and astronomers have different ideas.
The Age of Aquarius begins when the vernal equinox point - the background constellation the Sun is in front of from Earth s perspective - moves from Pisces to Aquarius.
There are 12 constellations, and it takes the Sun 25,800 years to complete a full cycle.
That equates to a new constellation, or age in astrological terms, on average every 2,150 years.

Why stars look so bright in Michigan skies this winter

Skywatching can be a great pastime in Michigan no matter what time of year it is. But during the winter, our nighttime skies take on a decidedly different perspective.
This is because our evening sky in December, January and February is facing away from the center of our galaxy, known as the Milky Way. Instead of facing this lacy core jam-packed with stars, our winter night sky faces deeper into space, our view angling toward our galaxy’s outer limits, according to a recent astronomy lesson by EarthSky.

December s Full Moon arrives late this year, just as 2020 is about to wrap up. Stargazers are unlikely to mind, however, as the Full Moon was preceded by a triple whammy of astronomical nighttime spectacles that include the annual Geminid and Ursid meteor showers, as well as the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Even the daytime had something to offer this month, with a total eclipse of the Sun over parts of central South America.

Christmas is just around the corner and a plethora of astronomical events will see the year go out in a bang. A Great Conjunction tonight (December 21) will see Jupiter and Saturn come together, followed by the Ursid meteor shower s peak on Tuesday and the last Full Moon of the year on December 30. Shortly after sunset today, Jupiter and Saturn will come into view near the western horizon, possibly appearing to some as a single bright star .
