The Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien will meet people whose homes are affected by pyrite in County Mayo.
That’s according to Fianna Fail Deputy Dara Calleary, who says next Thursday’s online meeting will comprise of local groups and Oireachtas members.
Homes affected by pyrite across the region receive just 90 percent funding under the present government’s Defective Block Scheme, while homes in the Dublin area receive 100 percent compensation.
A protest is planned in Ballina this Saturday organised by many of the homeowners impacted by the problem.
