[Funding alert] Mumbai-based drone startup ideaForge raises Rs 15 Cr from BlackSoil Drone startup ideaForge will be utilising the funds to meet its working capital requirements. Recently, it received an investment of $1 million from Infosys. 0 claps ideaForge has raised Rs 15 crore from BlackSoil in a venture debt round. This announcement comes in right after IT services major Infosys announced its investment of $1 million in the company. Vignesh, Vibhakar Senthil Kumar, and K.Abbhi Vignesh set out to build solutions for the Indian defence sector.  In 2019, the trio launched Torus Robotics in Chennai to help the Indian Armed forces with modular Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV) that could cater to diverse mission requirements.

Chennai-based startup Fabheads is building 3D printers for fabricating composite products

Former ISRO engineer turned entrepreneur Dhinesh Kanagaraj was always interested in the field of composite materials.’ During his three-year stint with the national space organisation, he was also pursuing and ideating along similar lines. A graduate of IIT-Madras, Dhinesh, and IIT-Delhi alumnus Abhijeet Rathore met in ISRO in 2011, and worked on popular missions such as GSLV Mk-III and Chandrayaan-II. After leaving his job at ISRO, Dhinesh along with his colleague Abhijeet launched Chennai-based Fabheads Automation in 2015 for building automated solutions for fabricating composite products.
