A 14-year-old girl was sexually
assaulted by one person who had also taken ransom to threaten the hapless minor in the Dehu Road area. Following a complaint, the police swung into action and arrested two persons.
The duo claimed that they were from the notorious ‘Ravana Gang’, and threatened the girl for a month. They also threatened her that they would kidnap her to demand ransom from her parents. Initially, the minor girl got scared and she gave away cash and gold jewellery to the accused.
