According to wildlife inspector Rajesh Chahal, they were informed of the four-year-old male leopard after it was sighted by villagers around 8 am in Narsinghpur.
The search for the leopard that was spotted on Friday night in south Delhi's Neb Sarai area was still on while at least 50 police officials have been deployed in the area to monitor the situation.
After the leopard was spotted in the Sainik Farm area on December 2, two trap cages were set up to capture the big cat.According to Subodh Kumar, a beat officer from the forest department (Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary), two teams have been deployed to cage the animal.
