Recording 0.99 per 100,000 workers, this rate falls lower than the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) 2028 target a first excluding 2020 when the pandemic disrupted work.
The MOM said it would step up checks in the manufacturing industry after the sector recorded the highest number of major workplace injuries in H1 of 2023.
