We are here to celebrate the first concrete pour for the foundation for the new transit rail center. We were here last year for the ground break of the new station. As you look around here today you can see that weve come a long way since august of 2010. Since that time we demolished the old terminal and recycled the materials to build it. We excavated down to street level and we kept the traffic moving and a breaking system and we relocated all utilities and reinstalled the piping system to use the natural earths temperature. There was evidence when the construction began as ships arriving in San Francisco at the time of the gold rush. At that time, people came here, rushed here with their hopes and aspirations and their dreams to make a better life. That tradition is continued today as we go forward with this project. It is in the tradition of San Francisco to be about what is new, to be about innovation, to be about commerce, to be about jobs for families in our city. In that regard, as the cement is poured today, tradition of leadership continues. As we pour the concrete for the first part of the new Transbay Center we are laying the foundation for the future of the Transit Development in the area. By our actions today we are setting the corner stone for the new Grand Central station of the west. I want to thank the residents of district six and acknowledge bruce who is here who is our representative of the neighborhood on the transbay advisory committee. Our residents have invested in this neighborhood early. Knowing we dont have all the amenities in yet but also to advise on the City Government and making sure this is a neighborhood that works for all of us and is the promise that we have made to them. And so if there is any kind of code in the code that we can make it a small, you know, we are not here to be the Culinary Academy, but we would really like to have some kind of. There must be some kind of a code and also a lady got zoned for her commercial kitchen in a residential house, i think that i also gave you that as well. And so i am wondering if we can get some kind of a small zoning somewhere in the code to at least allow us to do those thank you. Are you i am not sure that we understand what you your intent there is. Are you saying that you want to have a commercial kitchen that you can rent out just the kitchen itself to be able to cook food for off site . Very, very small groups of people mom and pop operations, very small. Right now, we rented out to you know, like different weddings and things like that. And we would probably get a
