A police officer in Lethbridge, Alta. has been found not guilty of the final offence he was charged with related to what has become known as "Memegate." He has previously pleaded guilty to five counts of misconduct.
Sanctions were handed out on Tuesday against two Lethbridge Police Service officers who tendered guilty pleas to some Alberta Police Act charges earlier this month.
A disciplinary hearing is set to begin for five suspended Lethbridge police officers who face a total of 32 misconduct charges for allegedly distributing offensive memes.
