Spokesperson says around 3,000 people are affected by cholera, gastroenteritis and diarrhoea

The number of cholera patients in Zhob district of Balochistan province of Pakistan rose to 2,000 despite all the measures taken by the government to curb the outbreak.

An emergency has also been declared in the DHQ hospital to provide timely treatment to patients.

The health authorities have reported 13 deaths by cholera in Zhob including nine patients died in the district hospital, ARY News reported on Saturday.
