Heading into Friday night's Century Mile card, Stash The Cookies held the track record for older pacing mares, and while she added another sizzling score to her resume in the $14,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace, another mare walked away with the distaff record.

Off to a perfect start at the Century Mile meet, Stash The Cookies followed up on her track record performance on opening day last weekend with another wire-to-wire victory in the $14,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace on Friday, Sept. 15.

There have been a number of track records set recently in the province of Alberta. With Century Mile kicking off its 2023 fall season on Saturday, Sept. 9, the track records clearly weren't just limited to Lacombe and The Track On 2.

Albertan phenom Virtual Horizon added another victory to his unbeaten sophomore campaign with a 1:53.3 victory in the $59,000 Alberta Sires Stakes (ABSS) Maverick final at Century Downs on Saturday (July 22).

The seven-year-old Sunfire Blue Chip mare Stash The Cookies swept by her competition and maintained control to the finish of a 1:54.1 mile to take the $13,500 featured pace at Century Downs on Saturday (April 22).

The Vertical Horizon gelding Ernesto Delacruz dominated his rivals with a 1:53.1 blowout in the second of two $13,500 eliminations for the Western Canada Pacing Derby on Saturday night (Nov. 26) at Century Mile.
