Testimony continues Thursday in the criminal trial of Derek Chauvin. The first witness to take the stand is Courteney Ross. She was in a relationship with George Floyd at the time of his death. 

The now-fired police officer gave that explanation after being confronted by a witness on the night of George Floyd's death last spring.
