Six Newfoundland and Labrador ministers are on the move to different portfolios, while Burin-Grand Bank MHA Paul Pike was sworn in as a first-time minister, increasing the size of the cabinet to 16.
With Newfoundland and Labrador's crab fishery finally underway, the premier said Tuesday he's willing to work with fishermen and processors to make sure next year's season starts on time.
"We have a shortened season, we have an increase in quota, and it's very important that we keep our focus not on what has happened, but where we need to go," ASP executive director Jeff Loder told reporters Tuesday.
