Bison World Inc. is selling 750,000 shares of its common stock for 67 cents per share to the Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp.

A group seeking to boost development along the Missouri River in Bismarck is closer to funding a project following the award of a $4 million state grant.

Stutsman County's share of the investment is $200,000.

(Minot, ND) -- The city of Minot is the recipient of a one-million-dollar grant to increase tourism. There were over 80 proposals submitted to the state and only 14, including Minot, were accepted to receive a part of 25-million-dollar Destination Development Grant. Tourism officials say most of the money will help develop Citizen's Alley in downtown Minot.

Councilman Dan Buchanan was opposed.
