And i know at one level that sounds like another fraught thing that happened in the unending civil war in syria but this is actually something that never happens. It has been more than a decade since the United States shot down a manned aircraft from another countrys military. Its just something that doesnt happen. But now it has happened and we dont know what the response is going to be in syria or anywhere else. Syrias government is internationally isolated but they do have allies.
