PLAINFIELD – One person was injured in a shooting Sunday night on the 500 block of West Third Street, police said.
The shooting was reported by the Shot Spotter Alert program at 9:55 p.m. Sunday and arriving officers found a victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to city Police Director Lisa Burgess.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
