Microsoft has introduced a Canary Channel to its Windows Insider Program to release unvalidated and undocumented changes. Those wishing to stay on the Dev Channel will need to perform a clean-install.

Testers need to open the Quick Settings panel to access it after clicking the volume icon in the Windows tray or use the new global keyboard shortcut (WIN + CTRL + V) for even faster control.

Microsoft also released an expansion for ACM, re-introducing the Touch Keyboard, and improved its Voice Access help page.

Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel are being asked to reinstall Windows 11 to remain there, or be moved to a new, less stable Canary Channel.

The Canary Channel will offer very early (and unstable) looks at potential upcoming Windows 11 features. The Dev Channel will live on, but offer more stable builds.
