Google will allow developers to rollback to Android 12 from Android 13 to help them test their apps. There a few caveats and the general public is stuck with Android 13 once installed.

Google has made it possible to downgrade from Android 13 to Android 12 on Pixel 6 devices, but only some users will be able to.

Google has released the Developer Support images for the Pixel 6, allowing developers to roll their handsets back to Android 12 for testing purposes.

Following an awkward launch where Pixel owners found themselves unable to downgrade from Android 13, Google has made life easier. At least for developers who still need Android 12.
