Apple won 65 patents today covering Apple Wallet's Driver's License & State ID Credentials, iPhone Sidewall Displays & Virtual Buttons

Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 65 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. In this particular report we briefly cover two patents. The first Apple patent relates to Digital ID for Apple Wallet for a users Drivers license+ and the second relates to sidewall displays on an iPhone that could be the foundation for haptic buttons coming to a future iPhone.

A new Digital ID patent from Apple has come to light adding a new 'Liveliness Check' procedure plus adding 'Touch ID' to Credentials

On Thursday, the US Patent & Trademark Office published a new patent application from Apple on this project titled "Digital, Identification Credential User Interfaces."
