Bryan County News Guest column: An industry with staying power

We are fortunate to have a diverse economy in Bryan County that includes a variety of local industries. You would probably be surprised at all the different products either made in or shipped out of Bryan County. We at the Development Authority of Bryan County (DABC) would like for people to get to know the existing industries that are creating good jobs in the community, and this month we are highlighting Express Packaging.
Express Packaging, formerly Port City Packaging, is a manufacturer of corrugated cardboard boxes. If you have ever ordered a product online, it may have been delivered in an Express Packaging box. The company was established by brothers John and Mike Reardon in 1979 and moved to Pembroke in 1986, making the company Bryan County’s longest-standing existing industry.
