SINGAPORE: The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has issued a lifetime prohibition order (PO) against Ng Chong Hwa, also known as Roger Ng, a former managing director of Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte.

The massive money laundering investigation is shining a light on fund flows into Singapore and has prompted questions about whether enough was done to block dubious transactions.

Under the prohibition, Ng is permanently banned from performing any regulated activity under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), according to the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
