Majority are people of color. 73 percent of all children under 18 in california are of color, native american, asian, latino, African American. The United States is gradually getting there and will get there a little more quickly than they think. By twen 4 the mu jrt of people will be people of color. Of supervisors and that was that they ask the budget and legislative analyst to conduct review of Workers Compensation payments and relationship between Workers Compensation and overtime and we would work the input op this issue. The third recommendation is that we should review Safety Programs with Work Development and we found this recommendation requires further analysis. We have already conducted an analysis of the First Six Months of 2014 Workers Compensation injuries and compared those to 1213 and already taken that analysis and moved to make changes to our Training Program and to work with our facilities staff to take corrective action to move the department forward. In addition, we are going to reach out to the Workers Compensation staff to review our findings with them, and come up with some nextsteps that well continue to move our department forward. Custody function and prior audits have focused solely on the custody function, we are a fullservice Law Enforcement agency and we provide penalopy of services that fall under the rubric. For example, we provide Public Security at a number of city departments, in addition, we have staff out in the field, who are looking for people who have outstanding warrants and a k9 unit that conducts bomb and drug sniffing activities. So we take a look at those functions and provide their insight in those areas as well. The civil grand jury focused findings focused on four areas and i will respond to each of those areas one at a time. The first one the first finding and recommendations related to disability. The first recommendation was that the Sheriffs Department should follow city policy for limited time temporary disability attainments and we found this requires further amion analysis.
