Another Congress Making action is the congressional youth caucus, the chairs works to promote respect, health, safety, and fun, and save activity among children and players. This is really partnership between educators, schools, parents, coaches, and student athletes. So what is this caucus doing around the issue of concussion . We are finding out in the new year that the caucus plans to meet and continue discussions on youth sports injury as well. Finally, i would like to go to the statehouse. In this case richman, the state level, just on the 15th of december last year, the Virginia Commission on youth conducted a study providing a study providing a dozen recommendations to the governor, and the Virginia Department of education. Some of them centered on concussions. The first of which is requesting the department of health and the department of education Work Together to assess the capability of doing training on updating concussion guidelines and awareness.
