No major problems. A quick look at the toll plaza shows you the cash lanes starting a little wait. We are following breaking news this morning out of San Francisco. This morning fire crews are working to figure out what started a fire that burned two homes overnight. Flames roque out about 3 00 in the morning on fulton street right by alamo square and the famous painted ladies. A threestory victorian home went up in flames that was under construction. The flames spread to a house next door forcing a family out of that home. No word on injuries and no word on a cause. Pete suratos is at the scene gathering new details for us right now. Chairman brinkman i do appreciate how we solve for one place and other people are affected. Director borden . Director borden would think i would imagine because what theyve described, does the program not apply to people that are already in the pipeline . A couple of months we approved for a reduction in fees for people to be able to pay that was for the parking tickets, but im just wanting to understand if that program is applicable. That gentleman is 600 behind in parking fees. Im just wondering if the new regulation we enacted would be able to be applied. Yes. At your january 6th meeting, you did approve changes to the Community Service program for unpaid citations. That makes it very accessible. I think its a very low requirement to get into that program if you have a backlog of citations. I was hoping wed have james for the reco ford here. Commercial or residential builds as much Residential Housing as possible. We have huge crisis here not just in San Francisco but throughout our region. We need to make sure were not just building faces for more jobs but housing for our existing residents and new residents as well. I just wanted to take a moment to thank a number of people that helped bring this decade to fruition today at the board of supervisors and first, i want to start with our community. I want to recognize those that were, i think, in our 5 00 a. M. Session with the giants, the council of Community Housing organization, peter cohen and fernando, teresa imperial, ian lewis and mike casey of local 2 who brought the lollypop rings so we could have our own World Champion rings at the table and united educators of San Francisco and finally, shes no longer with us today but april from my office who spent quite a bit of time working on the negotiations and this deal.
