I also hear what you say about the numbers should not drive the entire conversation but i do think it is important to understand where there is flexibility in the numbers. I do know how well we have done with conservation. I know we have our contractual agreements, but i would like to have a better understanding of what numbers we could do better on and to try and approach this very critical question of the health of the river and meeting our supply needs from a perspective of what we can do being the San Francisco we are, being the Technology Center we are, having the public support expertise and input that we do and having the invitation from the state that we really be partners and leaders in the effort. The Planning Commission initiated the changes on july 7 and recommended approval at hearing on october 20.
